Hebrews 10:38-11:3
Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

- Faith is a hope that does not disappoint
- Faith sees the invisible
- Faith as a not feelings and faith is not logic
- Faith is a substance- undergirding truth that you stand on
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
When your heart is right it will respond to faith.
- A good eye responds to light
- A good ear responds to sound
- A good heart responds to faith
Hebrews 3:12
Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
You can exist without faith but you will never truly live.
